Albuquerque home with a newly installed roof at dusk

Residential Roofing

Residential roofing in Albuquerque and across New Mexico.

Reroofs, tear-offs, repairs, and honest inspections — with the flashing, ventilation, and penetration work that decides whether a roof lasts.

Overview

Repair it or replace it — we'll tell you which.

New Mexico roofs take intense UV, wind-driven rain, hail, and dramatic temperature swings. Most of the failures we find aren't the field of the roof at all — they're flashings, penetrations, and transitions that were never detailed properly.

We start with an inspection and photos. If a repair will genuinely hold, we'll say so. If the roof is at the end of its service life, we'll show you why and quote a full tear-off and reroof with a clear scope.

We work on the roof types found on New Mexico homes: architectural and dimensional asphalt shingles, standing seam and exposed-fastener metal, concrete and clay tile, low-slope sections over porches and additions, and coating or restoration systems where the roof still has life in it. The only system we don't take on is tar-and-gravel (built-up gravel) roofing.

Every job gets a written scope, a schedule, protection for your landscaping and driveway, and a magnet sweep and clean-up before we leave.

Roof systems

Residential roof types we work on

Architectural and dimensional asphalt shingles, standing seam and panel metal roofing, concrete and clay tile, low-slope sections, and roof coatings — plus the flashing, penetration, and drainage work each system depends on. The one system we do not install or replace is tar-and-gravel (built-up gravel) roofing.

Shingle & pitched roofs

  • Architectural asphalt shingles
  • Dimensional shingles
  • Pitched roof tear-offs and reroofs
  • Deck repair, underlayment, and drip edge

Metal roofing

  • Standing seam metal roofing
  • Exposed-fastener metal panels
  • Metal flashing, trim, and terminations
  • Metal roof repairs and re-fastening

Tile roofing

  • Concrete and clay tile roofs
  • Tile repair and selective replacement
  • Underlayment replacement beneath tile
  • Ridge, hip, and valley detailing

Low-slope & flat systems

  • TPO single-ply membrane (60-mil)
  • Modified bitumen systems
  • Low-slope and flat roof assemblies
  • Insulation layup and tapered drainage

Coatings & restoration

  • Roof coatings and restoration systems
  • Recoat of sound low-slope roofs
  • Seam and detail reinforcement
  • Maintenance programs and scheduled visits

Details, drainage & repairs

  • Flashing, valleys, and wall transitions
  • Pipe boots, curbs, and penetrations
  • Drains, scuppers, and canales
  • Leak investigation and targeted repairs

One exception: We do not install or replace tar-and-gravel (built-up gravel) roofing. If your building has a gravel roof, we can still assess it and quote a replacement with a TPO, modified bitumen, or coating system instead.
